Today I have to admit a small success. I've infested (in a positive way) another persons to our wonderfull hobby - miniature wargaming with shirmish 1:1 system - Operation: World War 2:)

We played a small, but funny game involving two other friends from STRATEG Wargaming Club in Warsaw (I'm the member as well since 3. months). We had an "ost-front" summer-style clash including their Romanians defending the big factory (Faller H0) against my brand new "horde" of Plastic Soldiers "Ruskies" :D

Game was very funny... The beginner's luck was obvious so.. I've been totally beaten up by the newbies... Blame it on my "dice-rolling" skills :D
Looking forward for a re-match in 2011

Last're very busy, but I secretly hope that winter will enable man to "slightly slow" in the rhythm of work and concentrate harder on the hobby as well as regular posting ... Do not wrapped in cotton go to the main topic - Independence Day. Following is a brief photo-report in a slide show from this event. As every year the city held a parade in Pilsudski Square for the Polish Army Museum. Turnout was good despite the bad weather. Polish Army Museum on that day under the "open day" for visitors was literally "under siege" by lots of Warsaw and their children.

Yesterday evening was a very busy time. We (me, Wookush, Xardas, Stemir and Rrober - member of Yelonky club) were with a small presentation-visit to the Yelonky Wargaming Club in Warsaw. The show was very intensive, the game was very dynamic, everything went nice and easy. We played the Normandy skirmish battle between 12th SS regiment and UK-Canadian Infrantry with the Churchill tanks support. Just another great evening with our hobby! Just have a look at the photos:
