Once I have had to raise this issue - perhaps as advice to other modeling typesetters:)
he got last year in a series of products Gunze Mr.. Mark to decali - Softer and Setter. One is a primer for the ribbons - the second softens them on the bends as the model lines of sheet metal, welding, rivets, etc ...
effects are electrifying - dolls "melt" in the model - literally, I was positively surprised after the first approach to this subject. Here's my
teciaki which were hand (ugly) painted slogans - they have a ribbon 15mm Flames of War. The result is good:)

I was going to write That small article months ago ... I've got myself two bottles of Gunze: Mr.Mark Decal series products - Softer and Setter. They are perfect for anyone, who is looking for a realistic looking-like finished, and well Placed decals.
These are examples of Their work on my old T34 tanks. The old hand-painted soviet "Slogans" on the turrets WHERE Replaced by the Flames of War 15mm decals. Here are the Efforts:
