short sneak peak at the future project of my "drawing board".
Here is one of the many elements of my future Platoon Scouts RKKA. were fairly elite as a "Soviet roller" infantry units - specializing in campaigns often szpicy front or on the deep behind enemy lines. Utilizing the method and the dropping of paratroopers patents, sniper tactics and diversionary elements wreaking disputes ferment in the German ranks. Their appearance in the heralded counteroffensive, and the imminent attempt to break the front line at the site. Characteristic of their appearance is unusual (different for normal line infantry) uniforms. The picture shows the so-called scout. camouflage "Ameba".
Eventually I made them into a system of O: ww2 and Ambush Alley: Force on Force:)

Small update for today. I've started Creating a new unit for my soviet Red Army. That's the first figure of Soviet Recon forces of the WW2. These unusual formation is rather different than a standard line infrantry often called a "cannon fodder"... Soviet scouts were a bit more elite, trained well with elements of sniper-combat, airborne tactics, sabotage techniques and many more... Their presence and activity at the battlefield were often a sign of incoming RKKA main forces offensive in that location. The scout below is the first of many more to come! He's wearing an Amoeba-camo styled tunic and trousers with an improvised raincoat.
